High and low voltage switchgear is a kind of electrical equipment used for power distribution, transmission and power conversion. It is mainly composed of disconnectors, disconnectors, operating mechanisms, transformers and other protective devices. The cabinet body for installing high and low voltage switchgear shall comply with certain installation standards.

1. The distribution cabinet shall be installed in a dry, safe and easy to operate place. Its bottom shall be 1.5m above the ground, and the lighting distribution board shall be 1.8m above the ground.

2. The knife switch automatic switch light installed on the panel of the distribution box of the high and low voltage switchgear should not have a point on the blade end when the circuit is broken.

3. The wire core shall not be damaged during wire processing, and the wire indenter shall also be firm and reliable. Generally, the terminals of the added crimping lines are painted with tin and pressed on the terminal strip. If it is connected with the crimping hole, the multi strand conductor shall be brushed with tin and then punched and crimped with jackscrews, but the number of conductor strands shall not be reduced.

4. The terminal box of high and low voltage switchgear shall be firmly installed and well sealed, and the installation position shall also be convenient for inspection.

5. The electrical appliances and instruments on the distribution box shall also be firm and neat, with even spacing, no loose copper terminals, flexible opening and closing, and complete parts.

In addition, when installing the high and low voltage switch cabinet body, check whether the access road is unobstructed in advance, and connect the installation point and transportation channel if necessary. Check the status of construction machines and tools to ensure that they can work normally. Attention shall also be paid to the layout of the construction site, which shall meet the requirements of civilized construction.
